well it certainly seems like I’m needing the beauty sleep at the moment. another slightly later start meant choosing between a later bus, or a shorter run. I figured i’d see how it went once I hit the streets, and apparently i was in the mood for a slightly faster, shorter run.
with that done, and a subsequent nap on the bus, today is off to a pretty good start!
03:00 – energy gel and drink of water
03:15 – 3.6km run (see below)
04:00 – 1 berocca, 1 x multivit, 3 x fish oil capsules, 1 x glucosamine, zinc tablet
04:15 – energy bar, orange juice
04:50 – bus, nap
06:15 – coffee, berry wheat bites. 2 slices toast with butter & honey.
08:30 – peach fruit cup
09:30 – apple & cranberry fruit mix
11:30 – chicken & vegetable risotto
12:30 – popcorn
15:30 – cup of coffee
17:30 – core (see below)
18:30 – 3 x lamb tacos
20:45 – milk, 3 x fish oil capsules, 1 x night-time multi. bed.
run
wasn’t sure if I was wanting a shorter, faster run, or a longer, slower one today. as soon as i got started i could feel it was going to be a shorter one, so I upped the pace a little.
wound up doing 3.6km with the first half being roughly a half marathon pace, and the latter half being more like my 10k pace.
t’was a good run in any case!
