Hi! My name is Gary and I believe that ordinary people can do extraordinary things…

In 2012 I started on a fitness journey that was effectively the net result of over a decade of personal development (mostly reading and thinking).

The journey and personal development continued, and to date has taken me to several marathon and ultramarathon start lines (and finish lines), it has seen me take part in a number of sprint triathlon events, and it has even seen me walk over 5000km, from Perth to Brisbane.

It has also taken me to unexpected experiences, provided a number of setbacks, and taught me a lot about myself!

These days, I’m a passionate runner, as well as being an IT professional with over 30 years of experience, and an online business owner.

Running gave me a sense of freedom and empowerment that I hadn’t experienced before, and 4 months on the open road only enhanced that further.

Inspired by the passion unlocked by running, and powered by my professional background in technology and business, I decided to take on a new adventure; building an online business from scratch. It’s a journey that merges my passions and skills, and one that I’m both nervous and excited to embark upon.

Using what has become my usual “modus operandi”, this platform is where I document this journey and share my experiences. My aim is to create a space that inspires and supports others, like you, who might be interested in running, fitness, online business, or simply leading a more fulfilling life.

I believe that we all have the potential to create the life of our dreams, one that provides us with the time and opportunity to pursue our passions, whatever they may be. and I am here to tell you that it’s never too late to start. Whether you’re interested in running, online business, or both, I hope my journey inspires you to take that first step.
