so the journal continues to be a little neglected, thanks to Christmas, New Year and general holiday activities – and in many ways that “neglect” is being reflected in everyday life too.
I’m very happy that I’ve managed to keep running on a regular basis, though it is lacking a little in terms of structure. My main objective currently is to keep up the distance, so it’s not too much of a shock to the system when I commence marathon training on Feb 1st.
Food has been a little on the poor side – but deliberately so. There have been some good choices made at times, and at others I’ve allowed myself to indulge (it being Christmas etc. etc.)
But with the holiday itself having another 3 weeks to go, it’s time to pull things in a little, and stop using “holiday mode” as an excuse to slip back into bad habits.
So it’s time to fire “My Fitness Pal” back up, and break out of holiday mode – to a certain degree anyway!
