so nothing basically happened yesterday – it was a rest day 🙂

in non-running terms though, some more donations came in on the (thank you!!), Pension Transfers Direct became the latest london marathon shirt sponsor, and I finally got around to recording a “welcome” video for the web site’s “start here” page…

so not a bad day all up!

moving on to today – the schedule was simple – parkrun, race it, kill it, go for a PB…

After crashing (not literally) a few times lately, having pace “issues” and so on, I was determined to pace this one properly. I reckoned a 5:10 pace was sustainable, would deliver a solid PB and would even allow for things to be stepped up a little in the last couple of kms…

so I kept an eye on my watch the whole time and, overall, pacing was great! I DID put in the extra effort in the final KM, but I was just so shattered it simply kept me pretty much in line with the target pace rather than pushing it down towards 5:00 LOL.

Very happy with the consistency though, and very very happy to record a sub-26 minute PB!
