I knew there was more to life than being stuck in a stuffy office, working to someone else's agenda, and spending the best part of my life away from home, family, and friends... but like many people, I had no other way to earn a living other than in a corporate job.
Having overcome some health issues, I had learned that life is short. However, the need to travel to the UK, urgently, due to a family illness and (sadly) death, reinforced this idea and made me truly realise that I needed a much better balance between life and work.
So it was that I set my sights on living a life where I had the freedom to travel, spend time with family (in Australia and the UK), train for and take part in running & triathlon events, and explore more of the country that I had moved to.
To achieve this, the aim is to support myself financially with multiple streams of income, working online doing work that I love, from wherever I choose and, with all the free time that I want and need.
In this modern digital age, the world really is our oyster - and by equipping ourselves with knowledge & skills, we can create any life we want and take full advantage.
